Mr. Doepke teaches high school and middle school
science. He has taught Biology, Physical Science, and Anatomy
and Physiology for many years in both public and private
schools. He also taught advanced placement classes in the
public schools. Mr. Doepke challenges and inspires his students
to develop a systematic and thoughtful approach to science and
life.

Bergstrom

Mr. Bergstrom teaches social studies and is a substitute teacher
at Harbor Christian Schools. He served as a youth director at a
local church for four years. He excels at building
relationships with students while motivating them academically
and spiritually. “Mr. B”, as he is affectionately called by
students, also leads music and frequently speaks at our chapel
services.

Mr. Hoffman has over 29 years experience as a teacher in
secondary education and at the college level. He also served as
a pastor for 16 years. He taught math and language arts at the
junior high level in the public schools for 15 years. Mr.
Hoffman’s ability to build strong relationships of mutual
respect is highly valued by students and staff who seek him out
for support and counsel.

Liepman

Mrs. Liepman has been teaching art at Harbor
Christian Schools for the past two years. She has a degree in
interior design and her career has focused on commercial and
free-lance design. She holds several professional
certifications and also teaches private group art lessons. Mrs.
Liepman effectively challenges her students to tap into their
creativity as well as their natural talent.

Mr. Merwin has over 11 years of youth ministry experience in a
local church. He is currently the Director of High School
Ministries at Harbor Covenant Church. According to our
students, Mr. Merwin is a challenging and inspiring high school
Bible teacher.

Mrs. McClimek taught in the
public schools and was a school counselor for 21 years. She has
taught High School Life Skills classes and currently enjoys
teaching high school Pacific Northwest History and substituting
for secondary Science classes.

Mrs. Power teaches Spanish to
grades 5 — 12. She previously taught high school in Mexico and
also currently teaches Spanish for the Peninsula School District

Jaeger

Mrs. Jaeger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education
with a major in Music and minor in Social Sciences. At Harbor
Christian, she teaches language arts at the middle school and
high school level. She has also taught kindergarten, drama, and
music in private and public schools. Mrs. Jaeger encourages
student academic achievement and personal growth through her
creative and nurturing approach.
Directs
the orchestra at Harbor Christian Schools. She is Suzuki
instructed and taught home school strings for 10 years. She
also teaches private lessons.

Mrs. Silberman has taught foreign languages
(French and Spanish), English literature, and is an experienced
ESL teacher for the past 12 years. She taught English and
French at the high school and college level in the United States
and abroad. Mrs. Silberman is an enthusiastic teacher with an
extensive knowledge of social studies, literature, and foreign
languages.
